Implementation & support

Smooth implementation and continuous support

Most pharmacies are trading on PharmaSuite PMD within an afternoon of signing up. For businesses with branches, existing data and staff to train, we run the move properly — and stay afterwards.

Our implementation process

Six steps, no surprises

A single-shop pharmacy can do all of this alone in an afternoon — the trial is self-service and nobody has to call you. This is the assisted path for businesses that want it.

  1. Discovery & consultation

We assess your pharmacy operations and business needs — how many branches, what you dispense, how you buy, what you print, and what is going wrong today.

  2. System configuration

We configure PharmaSuite PMD around your workflows: branches and warehouses, tax rates and tender methods, roles, printing, and the edition each branch should be on.

  3. Data migration

We help you get existing records in. Products and customers import from a spreadsheet, opening stock can come in with them (batch and expiry included), and re-running a corrected file updates rather than duplicates.

  4. User training

We train your counter staff on the till and your managers and owners on the back office — cashiering, dispensing, purchasing, cash sessions and reports.

  5. Go live

Tills are paired to their branch, staff get their PINs, and your pharmacy starts trading on the live system. We stay close for the first days.

  6. Ongoing support

Continuous technical support, platform updates and optimisation as your business changes — reachable by WhatsApp and email.

Support services

What is included

Support is part of the subscription, not a separate product to negotiate. Where a job needs real time from us — a multi-branch rollout, a migration from another system, a deployment on your own server — we agree the scope with you first.

Deployment

Hosted for you, or on your own server

Hosted by us

The usual choice. Sign up, verify your number, and your pharmacy is live — nothing to install on a server, updates arrive without you doing anything, and backups are ours to worry about. The counter till installs from the browser on your own devices.

On your own infrastructure

For businesses whose policy or connectivity says the data stays in the building. The self-hosting kit is a complete, documented deployment — setup, database bootstrap, migrations, backup, restore, update and monitoring scripts. Talk to us about scope and support.

Questions

Before you commit

How long does it take to go live?

A single pharmacy with a product list to import is usually trading the same day. A multi-branch business with staff to train and stock to count takes longer, and we plan it with you at the discovery step.

Can you move our data from our current system?

If it can produce a spreadsheet — most can — then yes. Products and customers import from CSV, with opening stock, batch numbers and expiry dates coming in on the same pass. Rows are matched against what already exists, so a corrected file can be re-run safely.

What equipment do we need?

An Android phone or tablet, an iPhone or iPad, or any desktop browser for the till; any browser for the back office. A thermal receipt printer (58 or 80 mm) if you print receipts, and a barcode scanner if you scan. The install guide covers each platform.

What happens when something goes wrong at 6pm on a Saturday?

The till keeps selling — that is the point of it holding its own database. Message us on WhatsApp and we will pick it up; nothing at the counter is waiting on us.

Let’s plan your move

Tell us how many branches you run, what you are on today and what is going wrong — and we will tell you honestly how the move would go.

Or just start the free trial and try it yourself first.
